The “wood fire” hot tub was amazing, especially for the family and kids. Rachel was an amazing host, had the spa ready for us on the first night, and helped set it up on later days. The rooms are spacious. Natural thermal springs are within walking distance—“hello Rotorua.” I’d love to stay there again. Had a great time.

Location is convenient as a base for a Tongariro visit. It has many beds and a geothermal spa. I don’t think there was a hair dryer, so you need to bring one.

The spot was spot on, but the place itself wasn’t tidy, neighbors kept shouting and talking all night, and the walls are paper thin.
