“DISASTER - cancelled by a dirty, badly run hotel - run by staff and management - DON'T stay here !!”

Nothing was good, nothing was bad – I arrived at the hotel only to learn my reservation had been cancelled by a smirking receptionist who offered no explanation for the cancellation and made no attempt whatsoever to help or resolve the issue.

“My stay didn’t happen due to being Scammed out of £85”

I booked last year, but when I arrived, the staff told me there was no room for me because the property had new owners. I was left stranded, had already paid £85, and contacting them has been an absolute nightmare.

“UTTERY, UTTERY USELESS - DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER BOOKING HERE!”

I texted the hotel a week before my arrival to confirm someone would be there, but got no reply. I assumed the front desk would be open, but when I got there, no code had been sent, no one was present, and the phone number on the door answered, “There is nobody able to receive your call at present.” I had to pay an extra £25 to stay at another hotel in Skegness. I messaged the hotel again after that, but still no response after 48 hours. The hotel I ended up staying at, just up the road, told me they had many people in the same situation because they couldn’t get in. Don’t book here if you’re heading to Skegness—there’s no way you’ll get entry and you’ll end up paying more for another place.
