“Dormir dans une ancienne abbaye vaut le déplacement”

The hotel, very well placed, is magnificent, we feel transported back a few centuries, very beautiful and surprising. The staff attentive and caring. Breakfast wonderful, especially in this cellar where a velvety ambience prevails. The bathroom of the Clairveaux suite very beautiful. Only remark: after the reception areas, the corridors and part of the rooms are plain, doors lack style, walls uninteresting… The room cost too high.

I liked the pool and breakfast, but the duvet cover was on backwards, the bubble bath didn't work, a metal fixture was glued and fell apart with grime inside, and there was no coffee capsule available.

Being in central Beaune was a plus, but the staircase to our third‑floor suite was steep and the hallway floor creaked loudly with every step.
