I booked a partial ocean view room, but the balcony view was nothing like that. The front desk explained it was the option the revenue team had given them and that they could do nothing about it. No housekeeping was provided unless you stayed five nights or more. I paid $843 for three nights, which was not worth the money.

The property as a whole is nice. Our room, however, did not meet our expectations at all: it was cramped, damp, uncomfortable, and the kitchen equipment was unacceptable.

Anuhea was incredibly sweet and welcoming, and the spot is great—right across from Coconut Marketplace. We also spent time on both the north and south shores, and because the hotel sits in the middle, we never had to drive longer than an hour. The only slight disappointment was that we never received any leis.

The location, price, and room cleanliness were all good. The room might need some updates, but it does the job. Facilities were limited; we ran out of pool towels and a cooler for the day. The pool itself is small and cramped when the hotel is full.
