“À éviter”
The place was very central and clean, but it was extremely loud and the reception felt a bit stiff.

The room at Perianth offered an amazing view of the Acropolis, with an almost wrap‑around balcony on the 3rd floor; we were welcomed in the room with a knock, then given treats and a bottle of wine to celebrate our wedding anniversary—a very thoughtful gesture. Breakfast was adequate and efficient, featuring great coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, and wonderful eggs made to order. The shower had fantastic water pressure. The room itself was very spacious and aesthetically pleasing. When we asked for two luggage racks, we received them, and when we requested four beach towels, we received massive, high‑quality ones. The Uber service we booked the night before fell through, so Nancy and Constantinos helped us secure a taxi on the morning of 25 Sep to catch the 09:25 ferry to Aegina. The taxis were uncooperative that morning, but Constantinos stayed with us and spoke to drivers until we found one willing to take us to Piraeus, so we didn’t feel abandoned. We missed our ferry and had to pay for another at half price to reach Aegina. Constantinos’ effort to stay with us until we got a ride reassured me. The taxi driver turned out to be the sweetest man and saved the day for us. There was nothing I didn’t like, except that we told Nancy we didn’t want sandwiches for the breakfast to go on the morning of our departure, yet we still found sandwiches in the boxes. I had requested danishes, so it would have been less wasteful to have those instead. Sandwiches are not something we eat for breakfast at 6 am… Other than that, Nancy is an attentive, pleasant, and professional Front Office Hotel Manager, and I truly appreciate her. She’s wonderful to work with from the very beginning, even before we arrived in Greece!

The location was superb, the staff were very helpful and friendly, and the hotel was well‑kept and modern. We stayed in the Penthouse suite, which was beautiful but pricey; it could be a good deal for two couples since it has two bedrooms.

The property was comfortable with a lovely large bathroom and shower. The fridge included drinks and a bottle of wine. The staff were very helpful. It was very expensive for just one night.
