The sea view and the fact that you only have to cross the street to reach the beach were top for us. We were still happy: a coffee and a small cake for breakfast, the room was just right but noisy because it was lively; but that was our choice and we were very content overall.

The room was filthy, with a layer of sand and dirt on the floor and dirty bed linens. The smoke detector was missing, and a hole in the wall exposed hanging wires, clearly a safety hazard. The whole property looked rundown. I told the front‑desk man about these problems, but he seemed indifferent and only offered another room that was no better. At $200 a night, this place is definitely not worth it.

I was woken by a loud scratching noise in the ceiling above my bed; my husband stood on the bed and knocked on the ceiling until it stopped. Since the building is only one story, there was no one above us. I would rather sleep in my car than stay here again.
