“Good room but overall stay was below expectations”
The room was large with a comfortable bed and a balcony overlooking a green space. The building was quiet and the historic centre was within walking distance. La Malafemmena pizzeria on Via Otranto was great. The city changed parking zones the day we arrived, so we had to park about 1/4 mile away (400 m). The owner helped us find a spot but there were few nearby options, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you have a car. Bath gel and shampoo came in tiny plastic pouches—a waste of plastic and not enough for a normal wash. Breakfast was very basic; cold cuts and cheese were kept in a plastic container in the fridge instead of displayed on a tray. The old coffee maker made the process very slow.
