I’m a bit skeptical to speak about the UPG because I’ve always stayed there, but without false modesty, in my view it’s the best hotel in Ubatuba.

The place is close to the beach, but it was very noisy; people kept slamming room doors and we could hear what they were saying from our room. The tap had no hot water, which is a basic expectation for any hotel, and there was no coffee machine, which I find surprising because even the cheapest hotels usually have one. From 9 am to 1 pm the corridor was chaotic with cleaners making as much noise as guests, and the breakfast room was extremely loud with guests acting as if it were their own backyard. We didn't relax as we had hoped, and overall I think there are better hotels for this price.

The location was very good, close to everything. The staff were attentive, everything was very clean, and I liked it a lot.
