Coral Beach Maldives

Everything was fantastic—from beach dinners to breakfast. The service was high quality and the room was very clean. I hope to return to Hagnaameedho and stay again at Coral Beach.

“Semplice ma confortevole”

I had a great stay at this guest house. The rooms are spacious and very clean, as is the bathroom. Each room has a comfortable outdoor space. There’s a nice garden in front that faces the sea. The location is excellent, close to the village and Bikini Beach. Special thanks to the guys who run it, Ali and Rasa, for being very kind and helpful. Breakfast, both sweet and savory, was good. I dined there three nights and found the food tasty, though I’d suggest adding more fruit and vegetables. The guest house also organizes excursions.

The guesthouse feels compact and snug, and the manager is extremely friendly and helpful. The place stays spotless, with the beach right in front, and the rooms are bright and lovely.

We couldn't have asked for a better stay. The beach is just a short walk away, and Rasanga made sure everything ran smoothly; he was very kind and helpful throughout, playing a big part in making our visit so pleasant. We were a bit worried about the wifi because we both work remotely, but it turned out to be working perfectly, so we think they have a new one now.

“Peaceful, clean but no basic facilities and room services”

The location was good, and the common areas were very clean. The private beach was well maintained, and breakfast varied each day and was nicely arranged. Host Rasa was friendly but had very limited control over our requests. Many of the facilities listed on the property were missing. The fan was broken, and my wife got sunburns; we needed a fan instead of AC and had to endure two days without one. There was no exhaust in the bathrooms, so the room always smelled bad when we opened the door. Bathroom amenities were scarce: no buckets, no tumblers, no running tap, no soap or shampoo holders. The closet was infested with lizards and large cockroaches, making it unusable. The room lacked a phone, a chair, and the mirror light was out. We couldn’t rinse or wash clothes because there was no running tap or buckets, so after sea excursions and salty clothes it became impossible to keep the room clean. The room was cleaned, beds were re-laid, and towels were changed only once during our four nights. Repeated requests for cleaning and replacements were ignored, so we had to fetch towels ourselves. There was no milk powder on the first day, and it was never offered again; we had to ask for milk every time we wanted coffee or tea.
