It felt like being at home: large, cosy, stylish room, peaceful, with a very helpful, kind host. We walked down Rue de Joie (road of joy, I think) nearby, which felt appropriate after staying there.

The welcome was great, the owner was very friendly, the room was large, and the bedding was good. Parking was a bit tricky, and the AC made noise.

We only stayed one night, but the host was incredibly warm and helpful. She filled us in on the city, the best spots, and how to get around fast. The room had a fridge, which was a lifesaver, and she offers tasty breakfasts for an extra fee if you want. The room itself was roomy, clean, and had everything you’d need. It’s just a 15‑minute walk from the train station, and buses run right outside the building.
