If you’re ready for more tranquility, you can drive a few kilometers to explore places like Bamberg, Schweinfurt, Volkach, or the Geiselwind amusement park. The town offers great restaurants and wineries with outstanding wines. The staff are friendly and very nice, so we definitely recommend Pension Margarete.

A charming little spot in a beautiful landscape with plenty of excellent eateries and a delightful garden café (Cafe Lust). The rooms at Pension Margarete are spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Everyone from the Baumann family is very friendly and the atmosphere feels truly warm and family‑like; you feel welcomed right away. There’s a self‑serve fridge stocked with wines from the on‑site vineyard, beers, and water, plus seating areas for gathering – a large terrace and a cozy table by the fireplace inside. Perfect for our siblings’ weekend.

Very straightforward and friendly host, everything was well organized, the place is super beautiful and quiet, breakfast offers a view of nature and animals, and there’s house‑grown wine.
