The owners are super friendly and very helpful, and the place is extremely quiet in the middle of the forest; they run horse stables on the huge estate. Fauglia/Collesalvetti is well situated for exploring the region—Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Livorno, San Giminiano, etc.—and everything was perfect.

The place is wonderful, but it was very dirty and the room was full of cockroaches.
