The authentic vibe of the place and the garden. Of course Jimmy and Nariko are adorable, they try to speak English when you don’t speak Japanese. I was lucky to have a quiet period, so I was alone in my room with a view of the garden! Very pleasant and calming ☺️

I stayed for 2 nights. The atmosphere of the hotel was good and the owner was very courteous, so I could relax. No particular issues.

You feel at home! A small, human‑sized guesthouse with a very attentive host. The place is warm, has a little courtyard garden, and the traditional host house across the street, just 2 minutes from a supermarket. I highly recommend it, especially for the value for money around Biwako.
