The location was the best part of the trip, close to the river, and the place was clean and tidy. The door to the main bedroom didn’t close, so I could hear noise from the other room. The isolating switch for the A/C was hanging on the wall “by a thread”!

The ovens were cramped and old, and the power in Parkland kept tripping. That was the only downside; everything else was fine.

The extra room with bunks turned out to be larger than I expected, so that was a pleasant surprise.

The location was spot-on for our needs, with a nice view and plenty of space for a bigger group. The heating worked well, the shower was hot, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only gripe was the lack of bedside lamps and power points in the bunk room.
