The bathroom tiles had cracks, the grout around the tub was black and grimy, and there were no facial tissues or body lotion provided; the room smelled odd, and I could hear airplane noise from above as well as traffic from El Camino Real, a busy street.

Spiders crawled around in the room, there was hair on the towels, and the bed was uncomfortable.

The motel was great value, had its own parking, and was a five‑minute drive from the airport; the room was spacious with a comfy bed, everything was clean, and they offered a fridge, microwave, and free hair dryer. The vending machine for hot coffee would have been a nice addition.
