The setting is gorgeous, surrounded by nature in the Hoge Veluwe park near the Kroller-Muller museum, with calm and fresh air. The rooms are in bungalow-style houses on the ground floor and the first floor, but the spiral staircase is very narrow for reaching the first-floor rooms. The VMC in the shower is noisy and too strong, cooling the room when the towel dryer is absent. There's a small skylight in the bathroom with no blackout. The bath towels are thin and worn. Remember to book your dinner the day before, otherwise you'll only get a snack with limited options, and Dutch people dine early; some restaurants stop serving after 8 pm. The indoor pool and spa were under maintenance during our stay.

The location is perfect for a walk in the woods, and breakfast was generous and always refreshed. The bathroom was okay, not exceptional but not bad either. The pool and sauna were closed for maintenance.

I stayed in a nice spot with a pretty room, but the email booking for dinner and breakfast was a surprise, and the restaurant couldn't accommodate a single person. I had to go back to the village to eat, which was expensive. The reception was clueless and didn't understand me. My room was at the very back, and many facilities were unavailable because of maintenance. The receptionist seemed to notice the issue and handed me two pens, but that was it.

The location and service are good, but the late check‑in was a bit inconvenient. Noise from neighbors was an issue, and the room didn't have coffee or tea.
