The stay was terrible at this place. It’s completely isolated from everything except the nearby Pink Beach. Outside the hotel there are no restaurants, so you’re forced to eat in their restaurant. Prices are sky‑high for what they offer. The dishes are sparse and the food quality is awful. Breakfast is also bad and never delivers what you order. The worst part is the constant presence of rat colonies, especially in the restaurant where they walk up from the kitchen as if nothing is wrong. The room had mouse droppings everywhere, even on the sink, and the towels were stained and never changed even though I had put them in the designated basket. The SPA area looks more like a slaughterhouse than a wellness zone, filthy, scary to enter! During the excursion to the nearby Pink Beach, which we bought through the hotel, we were left to fend for ourselves once it finished, because there was no driver to bring us back to the hotel. A nightmare holiday, totally forgettable and worth reporting. Lack of hygiene and dangerous for your health given the high rat presence. The beach is unprepared, very dirty, full of plastic and not swim‑able due to huge waves. We actually left before the end of the stay and requested a refund for the nights we didn’t use.

The location is great and quiet, the staff are wonderful and everyone is welcoming and nice, and the room was huge, clean, and amazing. The AC only works at a specific time; it isn’t on all day, and in the morning it was hard to sleep because of the heat. Also, the food could be higher quality; the value for money didn’t feel worth it.

“Très sympa pour le cadre”

The setting is exceptional and the staff are kind, and the excursions are offered. The food served at the hotel is clearly not worthy of a 4‑star and it’s a shame because the hotel has a lot of potential. The flavors are missing. We ordered a plate of pastries for breakfast and got two slices of bread with jam instead because there were no pastries left. That’s not a big issue, but it’s worth saying in advance and not bringing two slices of bread instead of the chocolate and raisin croissants we saw on other tables… it was a bit disappointing. The staff were very friendly and let us change our dish, which unfortunately wasn’t much better. Another point: the path to the lodging could be improved because it’s a track in not very good condition.

“Teleurstellend”

The location is nice and the staff are friendly. The place is old, rats are almost under the houses, and at night you hear them walking on the roof. The beach is exclusive for guests and does not allow outsiders. It should be accessible to everyone; Indonesian law says hotels cannot treat a beach as private property. The beach is full of plastic, it gets cleaned and then left on the beach itself. The restaurant is not tasty and very expensive: one portion of nasi goreng vegetable is RP 165,000! The power goes out three times a day for several hours!

The only thing this place offers is a great view, a nice sunrise, and monkeys like you can only experience in Monkey Forest Ubud. The staff are friendly and helpful. You should research thoroughly before going there. For some it’s excellent, for others a disappointment. The room equipment is terrible, worn, calcified, and dirty. No kettle is available. Water is in a canister in the bathroom. Power is cut every 2 hours. You encounter stray dogs. The restaurant offers minimal food selection. If you only booked breakfast you have to pay for everything, plus a 21% tax. The hotel does not offer 4‑star service! The road to the camp is challenging. From the airport few people find the way they want to go.
