“Teleurstellend”
The hotel was so close to the event hall. We booked the same room as other friends at the same time and had two single beds, while they had a double bed. Our room was clearly outdated compared to theirs. Our table was moldy, which was disgusting, and it seemed to be constantly wet and cleaned. The receptionist was noticeably friendlier than the one the next morning, more customer‑friendly. Breakfast was really poor, never refilled automatically, coffee was undrinkable, everything was very basic, and there was no service from the staff present. We had to ask for more toppings, coffee, etc. The girl was nowhere to be found—neither at reception nor at breakfast, always in the kitchen. Suddenly everyone wanted to check out and there was no one at reception; we had to call her from the kitchen. What do you do when you also don’t replenish breakfast? I’ll never book here again. We paid 111 euros for an old‑fashioned room, a bed that sagged, curtains that didn’t close, a shared terrace, and then the above service at breakfast… wow. Very unprofessional. It even felt like we entered “a different kind of hotel”; the two separate beds said that. It was really disappointing. We expected so much more from a Thermae hotel. I give it a 3/10.
