The traditional Japanese‑style room was clean and pleasant, and the food was extremely tasty; the à la carte bonito sashimi I ordered was the best I’ve ever had. It was a shame that the children’s dinner menu was dominated by fried items, so my kid didn’t eat anything.

Breakfast stood out as especially good. Since the town is famous for bonito, an all‑you‑can‑eat raw bonito or tataki spread would have been perfect.
