“Super convenient place to stay when visiting Vardzia Cave Monastery”

The location is unbeatable, right in front of the Vardzia Cave Monastery entrance. The breakfast room has floor‑to‑ceiling glass, so you can see the ruins from your table. A rustic hot‑spring pool is just a short walk away. The breakfast itself was delicious and generous, and the host was a kind woman who took great care of me. For dinner, the restaurant opposite the hotel serves great food.

“Haus mit Charakter und Blick auf Vardzia”

The place is great, close to the footpath and overlooking the cave monastery; the grounds are nice and the house has character. The dinner at the restaurant across the river was very good, and the breakfast was simple with house wine. The room is basic but more than enough for a short stay. The host was very friendly, and we managed without knowing Georgian or Russian.

The spot was perfect for touring Vardzia, but it got pretty cold.

“Vardzia Caves and Taoskari Hotel, perfect”

We arrived late at night and the host was there to greet us. He’s very kind and generous, and he showed us the rooms. The room we booked didn’t have a bathroom, but he gave us another one with a shower and hot water. It’s in front of the Vardzia Caves, about a five‑minute walk. His car was broken, so we fixed it for him the next morning. This place is highly recommended and we look forward to coming back.
