“Meraviglioso”

We spent three nights at this wonderful property. It’s a beautiful old mill set in nature that radiates tranquility. The room was truly comfortable, spacious, with a unique charm and a view of the stream. Breakfast was excellent, with homemade jams and a pleasant surprise each morning. The location is very convenient for visiting many Loire castles. We can only recommend this place and thank Marie‑Helene and Laurent for their warm welcome and valuable advice. When we return to the area, we’ll definitely plan a stop at Moulin de Bacchus to relive this splendid experience. Absolutely nothing to add.

The hosts were both excellent—friendly, helpful, and a lovely couple. Other guests didn’t show enough respect, which isn’t the owners’ fault; it’s unfortunate that people forget there are other guests and let their children make continuous noise until midnight.

“Beautiful, renovated mill, with exceptional hosts, perfect for a family gateway”

We arrived as a family of three, including a toddler, in early September. Marie Hélène and Laurent were exceptional hosts, always kind and ready to help. The restored mill is truly beautiful, with meticulous details, all necessary facilities, and surrounded by stunning nature. It’s close enough to the main attractions in Tours and Amboise. The rooms are quiet, comfortable, and well prepared. Breakfast featured delicious homemade products, and we really enjoyed our time there.

A very beautiful former mill on the little stream Brenne, a very large room, lovely seating in the garden, and very nice hosts.
