Friendly and helpful people, a pleasant and quiet setting, but no bedding and the mattress was too soft.

The chalet is well equipped with essentials: fridge, stove, table, bistro stools, sheets, blanket, hammock, and a rustic sofa on the balcony. The bathroom is spacious, spotless, simple, rustic, and comfortable. The pool is clean and the whole area is well maintained. The host is very polite and helpful. This is my second year using the property, but my first time staying there. It’s about 13 minutes from downtown STL, and the road is in good condition though some parts are dirt, which can become difficult to navigate if it rains. I highly recommend the place if you enjoy well‑maintained rustic spots. Food is on your own; bring whatever you need because they don’t serve breakfast or other meals, and restaurants are far away. I would have liked to stay longer to admire the beautiful night sky over STL.

The service is great; Michel is very friendly and always ready to help with questions. The chalet lacks a ceiling, so sometimes dust falls from the roof and there are gaps that let some insects in.

“Paz e calmaria esse é o lugar”

I loved the place; the calmness is perfect for those wanting to escape city bustle. Cell phone and GPS reception are a bit compromised, but it’s still suitable for the purpose.
