WeinHotel Fritz Walter

This family‑run hotel shows a lot of care for details, serves a hearty breakfast with regional specialties, practices ecology and economy, and offers its own wines to complete the experience.

The hotel’s atmosphere is lovely and the wellness area is very inviting, with a good breakfast selection; the staff were consistently very friendly and helpful, but we found the hosts themselves a bit unwelcoming and not particularly accommodating, which dampened the overall impression. The rooms had spider webs and the bathroom wasn’t truly clean, which is disappointing for a hotel at this price point; overall, the ambience and wellness area are nice, but the value for money didn’t meet our expectations, especially in terms of cleanliness and hospitality.

“Ein wunderschönes Wochenende”

We spent a weekend at the Weinhotel Fritz Walter with friends, and it was a complete getaway: great rooms with comfortable beds, friendly service, excellent breakfast, and every wish was fulfilled – a bottle of wine in the room and a picnic basket for our vineyard hike were the highlights. The restaurant is also highly recommended, and we’ll definitely return.

“Top verblijf in huis bij een prachtige wijnmakerfamilie”

The design of the hotel is very beautiful, but the rooms were sometimes warm.
