The hotel looks stunning from the outside—the palace and its grounds are gorgeous. The spa is a definite 10/10, with one of the most incredible views I’ve ever seen, and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The restaurant isn’t particularly fancy, but the lake view more than makes up for it, and we genuinely enjoyed the food. What disappointed us was the interior: for a property charging around €2,000 per night, the rooms and corridors don’t feel luxurious enough. Some areas almost have a hospital‑like vibe, and the renovation feels dated and lacking in taste—odd floor tiles, awkward curtains, and generally uninspiring interiors.

Sehr freundliches kompetentes Personal. Alles extrem sauber – indoor wie outdoor. Wir haben es sehr geschätzt, dass der fantastische Pool-/Spabereich nur für Hotelgäste zugänglich ist. Die Suite war ein Traum mit riesiger Terrasse. Mini Bar inklusive. Roomservice wie die ganze Anlage Top. Von A‑Z TOP! Halt ein richtig Schloss :-)

The pool was spectacular and the lounge with the sun‑beds was really pleasant, while the whole place felt very classy and spotless; however, the staff didn’t speak French and the breakfast was served à la carte.
