The proximity to the city centre is a plus. The breakfast isn’t particularly tasty and the selection is very limited. Prices at the bar are absolutely inflated – 3‑4 euros more for an alcoholic drink compared to nearby venues.

The location, close to the station and within walking distance of the centre, is good. We had to go through the breakfast hall to reach our room, which was inconvenient because we had to open two doors with heavy handles while carrying a suitcase. The room was dated, the carpet was not hygienic, and there was no coffee maker.

A large, well‑furnished hotel near a busy station. The restaurant was still in the early stages of outsourcing and wasn’t suitable for cyclists or walkers on the Camino. We didn’t have suitable clothing for the star‑rated restaurant. The city centre is nearby and there are many other dining options. Bikes could be safely stored inside.
