Nothing stood out as a highlight, but the room was plagued by a terrible cigarette odor, cracked tiles in the shower, and the bedding’s color and smell made me question its cleanliness; we even had to drive to Maxima to buy fresh sheets, and the constant honking of passing cars kept us awake at night.

Everything I needed was available, and I didn’t feel anything was missing, nor was there an excess; the location was superb, right in the heart of the city, and honestly, there aren’t many good lodging options there.

Every time we visit relatives in Koknese, we stay at Astarte Motel; the motel is very clean, the staff are always polite and helpful, and shops and a park are nearby. Everything is fine.
