It’s a brand‑new property still under finishing touches but built with good materials; the price was fair for the location and season I visited. The Wi‑Fi cuts out at night, and the remote setting makes it a bit hard to spot in the dark.

Breakfast offered a good variety for Italian standards—cheese, eggs, and fresh fruit. The setting is quiet with a lovely view of Etna. The house feels unfinished: a light bulb hung from our room’s ceiling instead of a lamp, outlets lacked covers, the Wi‑Fi was weak and dropped several times, and we couldn’t get more toilet paper—so we added our own towels to the nearly empty roll at the start of our stay.

“Belle situation”

The room was clean, the bed was a good size, the space was tidy, and the view was stunning. The welcome was very friendly from a young man. Minor issues: the Wi‑Fi code wasn’t displayed in the room, switch covers were missing, a junction box cover was absent, the shower lacked a mat and was slippery, and there was only jam and butter at breakfast.

Set in the quiet countryside near Mount Etna, the place gives a beautiful view of the volcano from the bedroom window, making it a great spot to soak up rural Italian peace and charm; the host is kind and welcoming, though the location is a bit hard to find.
