The rooms were surprisingly roomy, nicely decorated and spotless, which made us all feel right at home. Breakfast hit the mark – everything tasted fresh and we were happy with the selection. Overall it was a very comfortable stay for the whole family.

The couple who run the place greeted us with genuine warmth, even though my German was pretty limited. They served a tasty dinner that felt like great value and the breakfast each morning was excellent. If you’re not near many restaurants, the half‑board option is definitely worth considering.

We had a truly wonderful time – the rooms were big, well‑equipped and the breakfast spread was generous, with homemade cake or muesli on offer. Dinner could be arranged too, always fresh and made from local ingredients, and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. The setting is quiet, natural, and perfect for a night around the fire, so I’d recommend Big Sky Ranch to anyone who likes that vibe, even though we only stayed a few days before having to leave.
