Samyan Story Boutique Hotel

“Für noch weniger Geld wäre es ganz ok gewesen”

The staff were super friendly and the bed was very comfortable, and we were offered a larger room right away. However, the shower was a problem: the air conditioning unit was mounted just above the shower head, it got extremely hot, and it shook a lot.

The staff were lovely during check‑in and check‑out. I asked to pay for an extra night because I had an early flight and wanted to check in immediately, and they happily accommodated that, making my arrival in Bangkok smooth. They also gave me a free room upgrade even though I was traveling solo, which was very nice. Water, toilet paper, and a small toothbrush/toothpaste set were provided, and the hairdryer was convenient. The beds were comfy. It was a short walk to Samyan MRT and a 7‑Eleven, so it was very suitable for my brief stay. The loud air‑conditioning in the bathroom mentioned in other reviews didn’t disturb my sleep at all because I just shut the bathroom door, but it might affect someone staying multiple nights or for longer periods.

“excellent”

The spot is perfect, right next to all the shops and eateries, and you can easily walk to malls and schools. The room is solid for the low price, and the staff greet you with genuine warmth.

The bathroom was terrifying from the moment you entered, with a split AC unit mounted on the ceiling, the air from the fans was awful, the place was very bad and old, pipes were exposed on the wall, and the smell was horrible for my relatives and others at the same time, so we will definitely not stay again.

“Personnel souriant et aimable ! Bien pour un court séjour”

The large room was perfect for a short family stay, but you shouldn’t look closely because the floor and walls are worn out and damaged by water.
