“Nice for a one off luxury stay but very expensive which in my opinion do not think it was worth it.”

The room had a nice view, great bedding and bathroom products, and the service was excellent. Unfortunately I paid in Japanese Yen when I booked and didn’t realize how much it would cost. It was very expensive, £750 for 2 nights, and that didn’t even include breakfast. The Spa was nice but required an extra fee. I’ll look for something cheaper next time.

The view was great, which is why we paid for the expensive room. We stayed at 7 places in Japan, and this was the most expensive and our least favourite room. The room and the whole floor (filled with exposed staples every few meters) were very old. Our check‑in was a nightmare, happening well after 3 pm, and we were given a key only to walk in on the cleaner and be told to wait longer; we didn’t get our bags until after 4 pm even after asking 3 times. You have to pay a lot extra to use the pool, but it was packed with children so we didn’t bother. We received an apology and a free lemonade. This was our wedding anniversary, very sad.

The view and room size were good, but the staff were unhelpful and not solution‑oriented when I asked about kids facilities – they could have mentioned nearby parks and activities even if not hotel‑run; there’s an extra fee for the pool, which feels like hostel level for a Hilton, and the hotel is outdated with parts falling off, from the door to the “renovated” bathroom; they charge a lot and don’t live up to the Hilton name, especially compared to the wonderful Shangri‑la.

“This is the best hotel that my wife and I have ever stayed at in our entire lives.”

The hotel was spotless, well maintained, and welcoming, with a luxurious main entrance and friendly staff who helped despite a slight language barrier; I couldn't sleep without a fan, so I called the desk and got one in ten minutes, and the bed was super comfy for a great rest; the bathroom was the cleanest I've seen, and the breakfast buffet was huge, featuring made‑to‑order pancakes and fresh fruit, and overall there’s nothing I’d complain about – the staff are amazing, the place is clean and hospitable, and the location is super convenient for everything Tokyo offers.
