Its location is so convenient that it’s only a 5‑minute drive to the lakeside and the Queenstown Garden and a 15‑minute drive to the airport. Every morning my family woke up and enjoyed the stunning view from the bedroom windows, which was fantastic. I couldn’t ask for more from the surroundings. Vibrant petals swayed and floated down from the trees in the courtyard, harmonizing beautifully with the distant mountain scenery. Gazing at the remote peaks from beneath the trees filled my heart with a profound sense of serenity and joy. The host cleaned the rooms every day, leaving them refreshed and tidy. I loved chatting with her—she’s an energetic and approachable lady. It would be great to have a dishwasher to save her time; seeing a senior person wash dishes by herself made me feel a bit guilty.

“We found the deodorising smell overpowering and would not stay here again.”

The room was just fine, but the overpowering scent of deodorising spray made us almost leave; we only noticed two plug‑in deodorizers on the last night. The photos on the site were misleading, suggesting better views than the room actually offered, because they used images from a shared lounge without noting it. The basin tap was broken, shutting off unless fully on, and when on the flow was too strong and splashed everywhere. The bed was higher than necessary, which was hard to get into because of joint pain.

Very quiet and cozy, with an excellent mattress and a friendly hostess. The room was cleaned impeccably every day and the snacks were tasty. The location is convenient, within walking distance of the town’s tourist centre, and the window views are, in my opinion, the best in Queenstown.
