Everyone writes about it, but the living room is especially lovely 💓 Every floor has a toilet, so I had no trouble. The room itself was great, I’d love to stay again!

There were no meals provided. Outside the facilities, there was also no green tea; at least some bread for breakfast would have helped. No one was in the office, so guests couldn’t interact. One staff member arrived a bit early, the other a bit late, and if someone stayed longer in the office, encouraging Japanese culture or guest interaction would have been nice.

The staff were courteous and the room was tidy. Parking was inconvenient and the stairs were steep.

The shared‑space facilities were easy to use. I thought there would only be a shower, but the 4th‑floor bath was a welcome bonus for families with kids. There was no garment bag, so I had to bring my own bag. The room was clean, the bedding comfortable, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The noise from other guests at night—shutting doors loudly and chatting in the hallway—was disappointing. The outside noise was also noticeable, so earplugs would help. The nearby parking fills up at night, so walking is better if you’re going out. It’s a bit of a walk to the Awa Odori Hall, but it’s doable. The room advertised a bunk bed, but the top bunk was low, leaving barely enough space for the lower bunk. I couldn’t fit two sheets under the top bunk and the lower one was tight.
