The spot is spot-on—no street noise but still buzzing with shops, terraces, and eateries, and it’s a perfect base to explore the city without needing transport. Genni was a lifesaver, letting us check in before 3 pm so we could hit the town right away, and the breakfast was solid: milk, juice, butter, jam, Nutella, biscuits, croissants, coffee, tea, fruit—great for a start. The flat is a gem and has everything you need for a few days; a microwave and more dishes would be nice, but what’s there works. Nights were brutal because of the heat; the AC was told not to be used, and the fan was dead. We bought our own fan instead of waiting for the owner to bring one. Wi‑Fi was supposedly available, but I never got the password, so I was offline the whole stay. The kitchen rag, sponge, and mop were trash‑ready, and the sheets and comforter could use a refresh. The owner didn’t give us a tour—maybe a communication hiccup or the same thing that kept me from getting the Wi‑Fi password.
