The food from Mama in the beautiful jungle by the lake was super delicious and traditional, everyone was very attentive and friendly. Milan also told us a lot about the country and its people and gave us inexpensive tips that were very useful. An unforgettable place with real heart‑felt people. We enjoyed every second and will gladly return! Ayubowan! 🇱🇰✨

The spot across the lake was lovely, breakfast was fabulous—traditional and tasty, and Milan was a wonderful host.

The owners were very friendly and accommodating; we booked two excursions through the hotel, and Siri was a great driver and guide. Our best experience in Sri Lanka—everything was clean, except for a few spider webs and ants. The food was very tasty, and we felt very comfortable. The fridge could have been cleaner, but overall a high‑level complaint.

I enjoyed a comfortable two‑night stay at Lake Wave Hotel. Milan arranged a reliable, sweet guide and a last‑minute taxi. Breakfast was fresh Sri Lankan cuisine, and I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a homely, relaxed stay.
