This hostel is very social and great for making friends; I loved the networks, the treehouse, and the activities they offer. The bathroom drain in the room clogged and flooded everything. I found the location bad, a bit far from the town center and beaches, on a dirt road that made it hard to get there with luggage.

The hostel is very basic, like a campsite in the woods, but it’s cool! Be ready for a very simple vibe. There were a huge number of mosquitoes in the room, and even with a lot of repellent I got bitten, so prepare yourself mentally for that. The shower drain clogged after five minutes of showering, flooding the whole bathroom and the shared room. I asked a lanky guy with long dreadlocks who introduced himself as the hostel manager for help, but he just pretended to take action. It’s a constant problem and they’re not even slightly concerned about fixing it. Half an hour later, after I had dried the room, I saw him walk past me as if I didn’t exist. In short, he knows it happens, refuses to solve it, and treats guests like fools when they ask for help. I work as an Airbnb host and would never see this level of neglect for a similar situation, regardless of the price paid.
