I was handed a key to a room that someone else was already in, and I walked in while he was in bed. The TV didn’t work, and a man approached me while I waited for my room key and asked if I wanted meth.

I liked that the hotel was right in front of a medical facility and the room stayed at a comfortable temperature. However, the owner was training a new employee, probably in her 60s, and seemed very impatient with us during check‑in. The other guests seemed to be dealing with chemical dependency, which was a bit scary. The shower curtain was torn and the shower head only trickled.
