Fred is wonderful! He upgraded me when I arrived. His place is clean and fully equipped. It’s close to bus lines and the D line, which was perfect for my needs on this trip. If you want to be in the town centre, this spot is a bit outside.

I stayed just outside Porto’s city centre, a perfect spot if you prefer peace; I took an Uber or metro to the centre, and the studio had everything I needed, plus a quiet atmosphere.

Freds house is definitely a 5‑star rental – everything was fine, it was very quiet, had a nice outdoor space and a pool, a great kitchen and bathroom, and I had no complaints.

The breakfast was excellent, with fresh juice, cheese, cooked ham, freshly baked bread, croissants, jam, butter, fruit yoghurts, coffee or tea – very complete, served personally by the host Federico, who even fetched decaf coffee pods for us and helped move our luggage from the car to the room. He was a very friendly, well‑educated, helpful, close‑knit man, always smiling, a great guy who makes you feel at home. The hotel sits in a very quiet area with a supermarket, pharmacy, gas station, and a grill restaurant nearby. Don’t miss the mini‑pool with sun loungers, and the terrace chairs and tables. Overall a wonderful, calm, clean, welcoming place to relax.
