Breakfast was very good. The location was fine, but we happened to visit when the main road access to the south was closed from 8.00pm. No other aspect of the stay had a problem except the inconvenience of the temporary closure of the main road access.

The staff were excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. The food and wines were very good, and there was plenty of secure parking. Our room was in the newly furbished barn and was small and dark.

The bed was comfortable and the room spacious. The bar area was pleasant and the staff were excellent. On arrival, traffic cones at the entrance and the immediate surroundings did not reflect the high standards of the interior.

A very friendly and helpful staff, the room was spotlessly clean, the restaurant served good English food, and we liked the lovely garden that stretches down to the river; overall, a very affordable hotel.
