The hotel is gorgeous and even lets you pick your room upon arrival; its old‑world vibe is part of its appeal, and the staff were genuinely welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay, though the parking is a bit far from the hotel, which is a shame given how tricky it is to find a spot in town.

The spot is unbeatable, right next to stores, cafés, the city center, and a beautiful plaza outside—plus it’s a super safe area. Because the hotel is pretty old, there was a slight damp smell, nothing unbearable but worth mentioning. Usually hotels give you a water bottle, but we didn’t get one, and the minibar in our room didn’t work, which was a hassle since we needed to store insulin.
