It was simple, clean, quiet and right in the old part of town. Guests are only given one small towel and must rent additional ones, but that isn’t a big deal overall.

The location was great, the mattresses were comfy, free tea and coffee were provided and earplugs were available if someone was snoring next door 🌝. Bring your own padlock if you want to store valuables. The check‑in process could be improved by letting guests pick up keys from a locker or speak to someone in person instead of video‑calling support staff in Thailand; the staff was very nice and helpful, but it felt odd, especially if you’re exhausted after a long day. After setting up our beds, there was literally no space to put backpacks next to them, so I think this room is meant for one person, not two.

The concept is really good and high quality even though it operates like a hostel. I think the atmosphere will depend a lot on the guests and how well everyone follows good practices. I believe that’s the case, and the teams available via tablet video calls at reception are very efficient and available. It feels like the sheets are clean, but there are slight odors that might make you think otherwise? Nothing dramatic, just a possible area for improvement to maintain the quality of this easily accessible and practical service. Privacy isn’t great, but that’s the backpacker principle, clients are aware 😇
