There was a metro station nearby, letting you reach all of Paris’s attractions quickly; the bathroom was clean, and you could make coffee and tea in the room. They could add a key for the room.

The Paris accommodation was quite unusual: I have no complaints about the hosts—they handled everything flawlessly, from communication to the meeting point—but the place felt strange, more like a personal apartment left open for a few days than a typical rental; personal items were everywhere—in the fridge, drawers, bathroom, and elsewhere—so even though you technically have the whole apartment, it still felt a bit uncomfortable. The neighborhood was nice, about a 5‑minute walk from Montmartre, and the metro station was about a 3‑minute walk away, with a grocery store very close by; the location was excellent, but the apartment itself left us with a rather odd impression.

“Good place to stay few nights if you don’t come back to the room very late as it’s scary outside”

The room was cheap in a private flat, and the lift was available, but the suburb location was dirty and the neighbourhood was unfortunately unclean.

The location was close to the train station, but the area felt quite ghetto. I wouldn't recommend going there alone, to be honest. I wasn’t told beforehand that you’d be staying with people, which caught me off guard and made me a bit uneasy. The people there were very friendly.

Jean Michel and Clara welcomed us warmly… they offered coffee and a bottle of water, which we appreciated… the room was spacious and very quiet. The shared toilets can be a bit inconvenient when you wake up in the middle of the night 😊
