“Lovely experience and people”

The hotel is straightforward, but that's all you can expect from a place with a uniform style; the staff were exceptionally friendly, and the spot sits right in the heart of the fort, giving easy walking access to all the fort’s sights, plus a great selection of restaurants and bars at night. The downside is that the nightly rate is rather steep for the level of facilities offered.

“Excellent choix pour rester à Galle”

The hotel is a gem with staff who go out of their way to help you and a superb breakfast. It’s located right in the center of the old town.

“Lovely place yo stay in galle fort!”

Everything was great: the room felt clean and fresh, the view over the fort was amazing, and the “puppets” restaurant was truly excellent! We enjoyed our stay. On our last day we had to catch the train at 7:15, so they prepared a breakfast box on request at 6:30 am. The shower was the best in Sri Lanka (my Dutch boyfriend specifically asked for it). I can’t complain about anything; I would recommend it and stay again.

The hotel sits above a restaurant, which is a major perk because the food served there is delicious. Surprisingly, we didn’t experience any noise or odors in the room. It was spacious, the bedding was comfortable, and the linens smelled wonderful. Cleanliness was impeccable. The hotel’s location is right in the center of the fort, allowing us to visit everything on foot. The entire staff was especially welcoming and smiling. The atmosphere was very pleasant. We were greeted by Muqshy, who was accommodating throughout our stay. Sanjaya served us a delicious, hearty breakfast with many options. It was the best food we’ve had in Sri Lanka (the paratas were excellent). I emphasize how impeccable the service was and how it makes you want to stay longer.

“Cute old building in a very central location, helpful staff”

The location is fantastic, right in the center. The room itself was lovely, with a separate upstairs area for our son. The bathroom was modern and clean, and the room had plenty of space. The staff were friendly. The rooms are above a restaurant, so expect some noise until about 9 pm / 10 pm. Breakfast opens at 8 am, which is too late for us. However, we couldn’t find a café that was open for more than coffee before 8 am anyway, so this must be the norm for this town.
