The location was excellent and the room was a decent size with a large, modern‑looking bathroom, but there was no proper window; the frosted glass only opened a little and faced an ugly inner courtyard. The boiler that supplied hot water also fed the apartment next door, so whenever they showered the boiler would fire up in your room just a few feet from your bed.

We really liked how close it was to the station and the city centre, and from Foligno you can easily reach many nearby towns, especially by train; the beds were comfortable, the air‑conditioning worked well, and we had plenty of supplies like toilet paper. It would help to have more towel hangers, for instance behind the doors, to keep them separate, and we struggled with the internet connection.
