Located in Ras Al Jinz, a nesting site for green turtles, Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve features air-conditioned rooms and cottages with flat-screen satellite TVs and private beach access. Each cottage is situated on a hillock, offering a warm décor and en suite bathroom with shower and free toiletries. Guided turtle tours and traditional dining are available, along with a 24-hour front desk and free luggage storage.

The beach, the tour, and the staff were enjoyable, but the old facilities clearly need updating.

The place is close to the turtles and the all‑you‑can‑eat dinner buffet was good, but the toilet had a sewer smell, the room felt Spartan for the price, and the breakfast left a lot to be desired.

The location is great and you can walk straight into the turtle reserve, plus you can reach the beach either on your own or with a guided tour. The staff were friendly and shared a lot of interesting facts about the turtles, the reserve and the hotel. The on‑site museum gives good insights into turtle life. However, the family room with bunk beds wasn't ideal, and the breakfast was a bit basic compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at around this time.

The spot is perfect for watching turtles on the beach, but the hotel is old and needs refurbishment.
