“Die Unterkunft war in jeder Hinsicht eine Zumutung.”
There was no personal or front‑desk reception. The main entrance was dirty and dark, with no lighting, so we had to tap in the dark. Instead of the four beds we booked, we only found one bed and had to set up a sofa bed ourselves, which lacked cushions until we argued on the phone and they finally brought them. We were told that two people must always sleep in one bed, that this rule applies everywhere, and that with self‑check‑in we shouldn’t expect anyone to come by. I had booked a room with multiple beds so I could sleep in my own bed. Four beds would not have fit anyway, so they shouldn’t have advertised that. The mattresses were bad. Clothes had to be hung over the table at the entrance, and the supposedly advertised balconies were unusable. Breakfast had to be taken outside and consisted of coffee, a croissant, and a glass of orange juice that wasn’t freshly squeezed. The whole street was a construction site. The property can’t control that, but they should still inform guests. Even though we were two people, there was only one key for the room.
