Nothing expensive was terrible. There was brown water from the tap, no hot water, so we moved six rooms to find one with working hot water. The hot water was really terrible.

The location was nice, close to shops and nightlife. The hotel overall felt a bit outdated: shower curtains instead of a glass cabin, no wardrobe—just a hanging rack, which is not expected for such an overpriced place. Breakfast was okay, but I didn’t expect Tang syrup juice instead of fresh orange juice again in such an overpriced hotel; with the price I paid I expect high‑quality ingredients and a well‑furnished, somewhat updated style room.

The pool area and restaurant were nice and new. The location is very far from the beach. Staff were not all collaborative or helpful at the reception desk. I understand not allowing guests or visitors into rooms, but not allowing them into the hotel restaurant is unheard of. Club cars usually available on demand and flexible at Jaz hotels were not; they only followed the schedule. We requested an extra hour for checkout, but they barely agreed to 30 minutes and gave no courtesy gestures. Shower towels were damp and old. Bellboys and the cleaning team were very helpful and supportive.

The property is very good and clean; the reception staff are very helpful. The F&B staff were very rude. I had a situation with one of the buffet staff and it escalated to the F&B manager, Mr. Saed. He came with a very aggressive attitude and a tough way of solving problems; he doesn’t know anything about customer satisfaction or handling it.

They boast the best beach and staff, and the village around the hotel is great, but the furniture feels too old and the AC is super noisy and needs maintenance.
