A beautifully renovated room, with a clean and brand‑new bathroom, and it was quiet because there was only one neighbour and no other floors.

Everything was acceptable, but the sewage back‑ups are still an issue; having lived in Appoigny for many years, I’m surprised this hasn’t been fixed yet. For a three‑star hotel, it’s high time to address it, especially since the reception staff already know about the problem. We endured three days of the smell—thank you.

The room décor is clear and modern, spotless, and the bedding is excellent. However, the room door charges €10 for a dog, which is outrageous! I also refuse to pay €12.90 for breakfast, as the orange juice, coffee, croissant, bread, and yogurt are too expensive. A few years ago, there was a tray in the room with coffee, pastries, teas… I also miss the on‑site dining that used to be available on Friday and Saturday evenings; I’ve chosen Hotel Kyriade several times for that service, and now that appeal is gone.

The parking is large, the bedding is comfortable, the surroundings are quiet, and the soundproofing is decent. The bathroom had a sewage smell, and the breakfast was mediocre.
