The welcome was very friendly, the room was quiet and comfortable, and breakfast was excellent. I was a bit disappointed that there was no duvet for the bedding, but the sheets were still comfortable.

“A stay with a great night's sleep”

We checked in with a code, the parking is secure and spacious behind a sturdy electric gate, and our first‑floor room was accessed via a wooden garden staircase. The terrace outside the room offers a nice view, and the garden hosts a heated hot tub. Inside, a small hallway leads to a living/sleeping area with a two‑seater sofa, a chair, a coffee table, and two large beds side‑by‑side (210 × 100 cm each). A big flat‑screen TV hangs on the wall. The bathroom is tiny but has a shower cubicle, toilet, and sink. In warm weather, French doors open onto the terrace or you can use the air conditioning. Only one power outlet was available in the living/sleeping area, though lighting was ample. Breakfast comes in a basket with yogurt, bottled fruit juice, coffee and tea, jam, honey, some previously frozen bread, a few small pancakes, maple syrup, and grapes. The value is solid, and the beds—arguably the most important part of a B&B—are excellent, ensuring a good night’s sleep. In short, a great place to stay for a night. Valerie was very friendly. However, at 1.93 m tall, I found the seating area and bathroom/toilet cramped, and the breakfast lacked fresh baguettes, croissants, and pains au chocolat, offering only frozen bread instead.
