The location was spot on, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was good. Overall, a very nice stay that we'd return to. The room and bathroom were a bit dated, and there was no way to block out light in the room.

The natural setting, barns, and horses were great. The food was terrible – both dinner at the restaurant and breakfast.

The food and lodging were great, but we missed having a fridge in the room. We brought a dog and there was nowhere warm to leave its food. A fridge would have been handy.
