“It did the job for the price, can't ask for more than that”
The host was friendly and everything turned out as expected, even better than expected for one of the cheapest spots I found near the event, and it even had parking. Knowing ahead of time how many other guests you'd be sharing the property with would have been helpful, but it’s not a huge issue.
“They need a better duvet, at least long enough to cover the human body.”
I’ve had better experiences for less. The roof‑top window in my room made it too bright early in the morning.
“RATS IN THE PROPERTY!!!”
Nothing! I wasn’t told this was shared accommodation. The booking info said there was a private bathroom, but the bathroom and kitchen were shared with another guest upstairs. There were rats in the property, mainly in the kitchen, and the furniture was covered in cobwebs with big spiders. The host denied the problem and was extremely rude when I reported it. Absolutely disgusting.
